Over the past fifteen years, the regulatory environment in which many of our clients operate has become more complex and the regulatory burden surrounding the safeguarding of potentially sensitive data and information has increased. During this time, SHC Direct L.L.C.has partnered with its clients to proactively meet data security challenges on an ongoing basis, and we will continue to do so.

In mid-2007, the Visa Cardholder Information Security Program awarded SHCD with Level 1 PCI Certification, the highest and most difficult level of certification to achieve. This Certification is awarded for compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS), a common set of industry tools and measurements which help ensure the safe handling of sensitive information.

This comprehensive standard is intended to help organizations proactively protect customer account data.
